Dr. Joseph A. Guillory, Au.D.
Dr. Joseph A. Guillory attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana where he excelled and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology, Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Special Education and his Master of Science Degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology.
He then continued his education at Nova Southeastern University to receive his Doctorate Degree in Education and Doctorate Degree in Audiology from the University of Florida.
Dr. Guillory worked for the St. Landry Parish School Board for 42 years and has provided training and technical assistance for Head Start programs for 30 years.
Dr. Guillory is a professional member of many national and local organizations. He holds a seat on the Child Development Council of Acadiana Board of Directors and is on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Academy of Audiology. Dr. Guillory has published many articles in hearing journals and is a repeat recipient of the ACE Award for Continuing Education from American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
He has also received the Service to Mankind Award from Sertoma International in 1999 and the Elizabeth Stokes Borel Award of Excellence from Speech Pathologists and Audiologists in Louisiana Schools Association in 2006.
